For couples

You share a life. Share the access to it too.

A shared flat, shared plans for the future, maybe a shared Netflix login — but separate accounts, separate inboxes, separate passwords. Erbnis's Family plan gives you both a single place to record what the other would need to know in an emergency.

Three moments every couple recognises

It's rarely the loss itself that's the hardest part — it's the moment right before, when suddenly no one knows where to start.

01

"Which bank was it again?"

You know your partner saves money. You don't know which bank, which account, or whether there's a second one that never came up.

02

"Is that on my card or yours?"

Streaming, cloud storage, the gym, the bike insurance — eventually neither of you can say for certain whose card is being charged for what.

03

"Which email address actually matters?"

Every password reset lands in an inbox somewhere. If you don't know which one, or how to get into it, every locked door looks the same.

What belongs inside

What you can record together

Each partner keeps their own vault — and chooses exactly what the other would need in an emergency.

  • Bank accounts & investments

Which institution holds which account, without swapping bank statements every week.

  • Subscriptions & recurring payments

Which card is charged for streaming, insurance, rent or loans — handy when moving house, essential in an emergency.

  • The one email that matters

Which address every password reset actually goes to, and how to get into it if you have to.

  • Insurance policies

Life, income-protection or term insurance — policy numbers and contacts in one place instead of a filing cabinet.

  • The phone passcode

Without it, a smartphone is a sealed box of photos, messages and second-factor codes.

One evening, two lists

No appointment, no lawyer required — just thirty minutes and two sheets of paper.

  1. 10 minutes, apart: Each of you writes your own list — bank, investments, insurance, your three main subscriptions, your primary email inbox, your phone passcode.
  2. 10 minutes, together: Swap lists and ask about anything unclear. This is usually where the surprises show up.
  3. 10 minutes, recording it: Add both lists to your Erbnis vault, decide what's visible now and what's released only in an emergency — and talk about whether you also need a power of attorney.
We'd been together for nine years and I didn't know which bank my wife's savings account was with. After an hour with Erbnis, we knew more about each other than in all those years combined.
